She's getting big!!!

Lexi is growing so fast. At her one month appointment she already weighed 10 pounds! I'm guessing she's about 12 pounds now. She has been such an easy baby so far and is such a sweetie. We are so blessed.

I love my brother!

My little brother, Michael, came to visit. He's moving to Telluride for the winter to be a ski bum. It's so crazy to see how grown up he is. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. He is so good with my kids and Cooper loves his uncle! He will be such a good dad some day. I'm so proud of him and the young man he has become. I'm excited that he will be closer and we will be able to see him more often.

Just Hangin Out!!!

Dustin has been hunting, so the kids and I have just been trying to stay busy. Cooper is getting used to his sister now. He'll actually talk about her to people and he wants to hold her and love on her all the time. He's getting so big and is such a sweetheart.

Cooper got really sick the morning of Halloween, so we didn't go to very many houses. Just down the block and back, but he still had fun. He was so excited to be a dirt bike rider! Lexi was a pumpkin. Her grandma got her the outfit and she looked adorable in it. We had lots of fun!!!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch today. Cooper had lots of fun and he still won't put down his pumpkin!

Cooper Kyle

Cooper is getting big! He's two and a half already. Where did the time go? It seems like he was just born. He's really into his motorcycles just like his daddy. He has a great personality and is very spirited. He's definitely a two year old! He has had a hard time adjusting to his little sister. He's used to being the one and only, but it's to be expected. I tell him all the time that even though he has a little sister now, he'll always be my baby.

Lexi Loren Thurmon

Dustin and I added a new little girl to our family! Lexi Loren was born on October 10, 2008. She was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long. We think she looks more like Dustin than Cooper and she even got his dimples! We are adjusting well, but Cooper is having a hard time sharing mom and dad. He gets better everyday though. We named Lexi after my mom and grandma. Their names are Lorena, so we just took the a off the end. My labor was pretty easy. In fact, after she was here I couldn't help but think, "is that it?" I felt like I didn't do much. I'm very thankful for that.
